Throughout these Terms and Conditions, the terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Sara Lashay Jewellery Trading FZE. The terms “you” and “your” refer to the customer using this website and purchasing our products.
2. Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed through our website and govern the sale of fashion jewelry and fine jewelry to consumers worldwide.
By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
3. Products and Descriptions
We make every effort to display our products, including colors, materials, sizes, and specifications, as accurately as possible.
Many items are handmade or produced using natural materials. Slight variations in appearance, color, gemstone characteristics, and dimensions may occur and do not constitute defects.
For fine jewelry, gemstone weights, dimensions, and precious metal weights are approximate unless otherwise stated.
4. Certificates and Authenticity
Selected fine jewelry pieces made of 18 karat gold and natural diamonds may be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity or gemstone certificate issued by us or by an independent gemological laboratory.
Where a certificate is included, this will be stated in the relevant product description.
5. Pricing and Currency
All prices displayed on our website are net prices and are shown in AED, unless otherwise stated.
Prices do not include:
- Value Added Tax (VAT), sales tax, or any other local taxes;
- Customs duties;
- Import duties;
- Brokerage fees; or
- Any other charges imposed by the destination country.
Shipping costs are charged separately unless expressly stated otherwise.
The customer is solely responsible for paying all applicable taxes, customs duties, import charges, and related fees required by the destination country.
These charges are determined by the relevant customs authorities and are outside of our control. We are unable to estimate these costs in advance.
We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to change prices at any time without prior notice.
6. Orders and Contract Formation
Your order constitutes an offer to purchase products from us.
A binding contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation or dispatch your order.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors, suspected fraud, product unavailability, or payment verification issues.
7. Payment Terms
We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and any other payment methods displayed at checkout.
Payment must be received in full and successfully cleared before an order is processed and shipped.
8. Reservation of Title
Ownership of the products remains with us until full payment has been received and cleared.
9. Fraud Prevention
We reserve the right to request additional verification information and to cancel or refuse any order if we suspect fraudulent activity or unauthorized use of a payment method.
10. Shipping and Delivery
Orders are shipped using trusted courier services such as DHL Express and Aramex.
All shipments are tracked, and high-value orders may be insured.
Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
We are not responsible for delays caused by customs authorities, courier services, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond our control.
11. Customs Duties and Import Taxes
International customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and import charges imposed by their country.
These charges are non-refundable.
12. Risk and Delivery Confirmation
Risk passes to the customer once the order is delivered to the shipping address provided.
A parcel marked as “Delivered” by the courier is considered successfully delivered, even if signed for by another person, such as a family member, neighbor, colleague, receptionist, or building staff.
We do not provide refunds or replacements for orders confirmed as delivered according to the courier’s tracking records.
13. Returns and Exchanges
Returns and exchanges are accepted only in accordance with our Return Policy.
Items must be returned unused, unworn, and in their original packaging.
The following items are non-returnable unless defective:
- Custom-made or personalized products;
- Made-to-order items;
- Earrings (for hygiene reasons, where permitted by law);
- Sale or clearance items.
Shipping and insurance charges are non-refundable.
14. Custom-Made Jewelry
Custom-made, personalized, and made-to-order jewelry created upon customer request, including orders arranged by email or other written communication, is non-cancellable and non-refundable once production has begun, unless the item is defective.
15. Repairs and Resizing
We may offer repair and resizing services upon request. Customers must contact us by email to discuss availability, pricing, and shipping arrangements.
Repair and resizing services may incur additional charges.
Shipping costs to and from our workshop are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
16. Right to Refuse Returns
We reserve the right to reject returns that show signs of wear, damage, alteration, misuse, or improper care.
17. Fine Jewelry and Gemstone Disclaimer
Natural gemstones may contain inclusions and variations in color, clarity, and texture. These characteristics are natural and contribute to the uniqueness of each piece.
Precious metals may develop scratches and signs of wear over time.
18. Jewelry Care
Jewelry should be handled with care and kept away from chemicals, perfumes, lotions, water, and abrasive surfaces.
Damage caused by improper care, accidents, or normal wear and tear is not covered under warranty.
19. Warranty and Defects
If you receive a defective product, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide photographs and a detailed description.
Our liability is limited to repair, replacement, or refund at our sole discretion.
20. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our liability is limited to the purchase price paid for the product.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
21. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including images, product descriptions, logos, designs, and text, is our property and may not be used without our prior written consent.
22. Privacy
The collection and processing of personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Gerneral Terms and Conditions and is available on our Website.
23. Electronic Communications
By placing an order or contacting us electronically, you agree to receive communications from us by email or other electronic means.
24. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, customs delays, and transportation disruptions.
25. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
